You should do what you want to do. Your friends will have their opinions, but you don't have to agree with them. I really enjoy brickfilming. I've tried other mediums, but brickfilming is always what stuck. If you love to brickfilm, brickfilm. If you feel like you don't want to anymore or you want to move onto to something else, you should feel free to do so.
