Topic: Bucket List

Yesterday in the chat room, some interesting topics were brought up.
Animation, goals and the brief mention of bucket lists.
Back in the olden days of the former website, I had a list written, but I can't seem to find it.
Well, with everything that's happened lately...I figured, hey, write a new one.

This is pretty much an animation/BiM/personal bucket list of things that would be nice to accomplish.

-Create a full length feature film
-Try a different genre (other than comedy)
-Do at least 1 thing that's totally different/stands out in each film
-Create a music video
-Have people 'forget' it's just a brickfilm
-Do something creative each day (sketch, write scripts, etc.)
-STOP PROCRASTINATING
-Contribute more
-Share more
-Get out of my comfort zone (one step at a time)
-Lend a helping 'voice' once in a while
-? [to be continued...]

Edit...
-Make a film without using any minifigs whatsoever (12/3/14)

Right now...

-Finish all my current projects. My Father is a Tyrannosaurus Rex., Axolotl, BiM: The Documentary, In Paradise (finished but I've gotta get backer rewards done in the next couple months)
-Direct a live action feature with adequate funding, secure some kind of substantial release for it.
-Visit Socotra. Ideally to shoot a film there.

Umm... Dew's list, like exactly. I've actually made that list in my mind before, especially the do something creative every day thing. The only difference is that I also have "Win a prestigious award for scientific achievement" on my list.

-Make a film about a pirate ship that is also a whale
-Make a film that gets into a major film festival (ideally SIFF)
-Make a 10~ minuet film that is about as good as Manly or Bee and Puppycat
-Make a 20~ minuet film that approaches the same level of story telling/quality as something like The Wrong Trousers
-Make a film that has urban environments that feel like they have a similar sense of scale as the cities in Akira or Ghost in the Shell

At this point I can not image making a feature, even making something in the 20-25 minute range seems daunting at this point but I would love to get there one day.

full feature sounds like hard work.  or just work.  my goal is to ensure each movie is better than the last and if it's not, make sure I learnt something in the process of 'failing'.

Here is my bucket list:
- Compose a soundtrack for my own film
- Make my first documentary
- Share my brickfilming passion with someone close to me (friend or family)
- Meet some of my favorite brickfilmers in person (smeaol I'm looking at you mini/wink )
- Create a brickfilm series
- Be less of a procrastinator
- Go to Film School (Sheridan college in Ontario Canada is my goal)

Well, I missed this - and judging by the few posts, I reckon many others missed this too. Might as well shock this back to life:

- Write a full-length play that gets performed to at least one person...and that person must not be my mother.
- Write a novel that gets published and read by at least one person...and that person must not be my mother.
- Ghost-write a piece of crap.
- Cameo in a video game.
- Win an award at a ceremony so I can accept it whilst wearing sunglasses and drunk.

-Make the most epic brick-film of the century.... or just that one day it was released.
-Drink a 24 pack of Coke during the super bowl.... and survive.
-See one of our films in a theater.

I did an extended edition LOTR marathon when Return of the Kind ED was released and I never watched the LOTR films again, just saying...

There is a theater showing all six Star Wars films and then the seventh one without stopping
