here's the finished script for the first episode in my new western series.
it's the first acctual brickfilm i made thats not a short.

hired guns episode 1: the search for james wlleington part 1

script

the camera looks at a sign that says: welcome to stabby town

and a street scene in the background

after a few second the camera jumps into the street scene and does a slow dolly shot along the road looking at buildings
on one side of the street. it finaly comes to a stop when it reaches a building that says "police office".
a boy walks into the the building.
the camera switches to inside the office there is a desk with an officer behind it. the camera is looking
over the officers shoulder towards the entrance to the office as the boy walks in and past a line of people
sitting on chairs beside the wall,he aproches the desk and the
officer(1):hey kid!, wait in line like everyone else!
boy (scott wellington)(1):wah!? oh, sorry... i... i didnt notice.

scott walks to an empty chair at the end of the line and a montage begins of him waiting in line.
the montage ends and after a few seconds
officer(2): next!.
scott immediatly jumps awake and gets startled. he walks over to the desk.
officer(3):state your name and bisniuss son.
scott(2):uh, right, um, scott wellington, im here to request an invesitgation. my uncles been missing for about a month now and-
officer(4): son, does your uncle happen to be james wellington?
scott(3): yes, sir.
officer(5): sorry son, we closed that case three weeks ago, he was declaired dead.
scott(4): hes not dead!
officer(6): listen, he practicaly vanished off the face of the earth-
scott(5): HE'S NOT DEAD!!!
scott jumps out of a chair he was sitting on at the desk and the chair falls over.
officer(7): guards, get him outta here.

two guards waiting at either side of the door walk over to scott and start dragging him to the entrance
the camera faces scott being pulled out and follows him
scott(6):no! wait, please!, just hear me out!

the guards throw scott out the door.scott hits the ground.
scott(7):hey!!!
scott gets up and starts walking along the sidewalk and talking to himself.
the camera follows scott from a sideview.
scott(8): this sucks...

NEW SCENE

scott walks around a corner and into a tavern.
the camera switches to inside the tavern and we see scott walking in.
scott walks over to a stool near the counter in the tavern.
there is a bartender standing behind the counter.
bartender(1): what can i get you?
scott(9): just a beer.
scott starts dirinking the beer.
bartender(2): why the long face?
scott(10):i'd rather not talk about it.
bartender(3): say, you look familiar,your not related to james wellington are you?
scott(11): hes my uncle.
bartender(4): oh... well, im terribly sorry. he was a good friend of mine.
scott(12): he isn't dead. im gonna find him.
bartender(5): well, look i dont know if you old enough to be messin' with people like this, but see that guy over there?
scott(13): yah?
bartender(6): well, him and his crew are expert trackers (and assasins, but thats beside the point), there the best at what they do.
go over and talk to them, maybe they can help you out.

scott starts getting up from the stool and starts walking to the other side of the tavern
scott(14):thanks
the camera follows scott from a sideview for a bit and then switches to over a mans shoulder sleeping on a chair and the
camera is looking towards scott walking over to the man.
scott reaches the man.
the camera is looking from the side at scott and the man sleeping on the chair.
scott(15):ehhem..., hello?, eh-hem!...
scott waits a few seconds, and then carefully pokes the man. nothing happens so he pokes him again and the man quickly
jumps awake, takes out his gun loads it and points it at scott (all done verry quickly).
scott jumps back a bit.
scott(16):ah!
the man lowers the gun.
man (chuck gorden)(1):oh... i was expecting someone else.
chuck sits down.

chuck(2): what do you want?
scott(17): well, my uncles been missing for a while, and i was told you were the one to turn to about finding him.
chuck(3): how long has he been missing?
scott(18): about a month.
chuck(4): do you know anyone that was close to him?
scott(19):umm... there is this one guy, he and my uncle were constantly sending letters for about three weeks until he dissapeared.
his name was paul jones i think he lives in greenstone county.
chuck(5): anything else?
scott(20): not really, he was acting pretty secret for a while.
ok, ill talk to the guys tomorrow morning, we'll
leave in the afternoon. but this is gonna cost you kid.
scott(21): how much?
chuck(6): lets say... 250 dollars.
scott(22): what!?
chuck(7): look we bairly know anything about the guy, now you wantthe job done or not?
scott(23): ok,... ill be here with the money tomorrow. im sorry, i didnt catch your name?
chuck(8): the names chuck, chuck gorden.
scott(24): bye.

scott walks out of the frame.
the camera jumps to outside the tavern and it is looking at the door as scott goes out.
we now jump to a close up on scott from a sideview as he walks down the sidewalk.

scott(25):250 dollars... where am i supposed to get that kind of money?.
theres nothing i can sell... or maybe...

NEW SCENE
the is in a apartment. it is looking at scott while two mail men drag a basket with an xbox in it.

scott(26):(misserably) goodbye, sweet xbox... sniff.
we see a close up of scotts legs and the mail men taking the xbox away in the background.
(yesterday plays in the background). the scene faids to black.

NEW SCENE

text: the next day
we see scott open the door to his house and go out.
the camera swithes to a close up of scott. scott is carrying money. scott walks to the tavern and the camera follows him.
we see scott walk into the tavern from inside.
he walks over to chuck who is accompanied by two other men.
scott(27): heres the money mr. gorden.
chuck(9): good. we'll just go out back and sattle up the horses,meet us outside the front door in five minutes.
scott(28): ok.

the three men get up and leave the frame.the camera switches to seeing the whole inside of the tavern and scott walks to
the door and opens it. the camera then switches to outside and we see scott walk out and sit down on the curb.
a few seconds later the three men arrive walking there horses.
chuck(10): were ready kid!
scott(29): great

scott gets up and walks over to them. the camera switches to a sideview of the characters from the building side of the sidewalk.
the characters start walking down the sidewalk.
chuck(11): i expect we will arrive it greenstone by tomorrow, we'll send you a letter when we get there.
scott(30): great.

the characters reach the end of the village.
the camera switches to a far shot of the characters showning where they are.

chuck(12): see yah, kid.
scott(31): bye.
the three men walk away out of the village.
the camera switches to looking at the three men from behind as the walk into the desert towards the horizon.
(kashmir plays in the background).
