So recently I have found some money for some equipment. I want a new Stop Motion Capture software that I can use with my Quickcam. I really don't want to pay the 300$ for Dragon and at the same time, MonkeyJam and Helium Frog won't do it.
Any suggestions?
Why do you need new capture software? What's wrong with MJ and HF?
I think he wants HD, and the other free frame capture programs can't do that.
Helium Frog can...I did it myself. Binding, what camera do you use?
Do you have a power Pc? You could probably get iStopMotion 2 if you have one.
I completely understand your situation. Your best bet is probably Stop Motion Pro Studio HD for USD 185 if you're a student. Still, Dragon Stop Motion's numpad would be pretty awesome. Maybe create a good film for Tales Of Yore and... who knows? There may be a license of DSM waiting for you.
EDIT: You can still get cheaper with AnimatorHD.

Animator HD personal... Under $300
No! It's much cheaper. In my currency it's 100 euros. And AnimatorHD Home is only 50 euros! You can't use your video comercially then but oh well, who actually does?
