Topic: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

Well, the title says it all. This is a casting call for my upcoming film, "Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled". For information about the film itself, please go here .

There are quite a number of characters in the film, and I expect production to take quite a while, so I am in no big rush to get the lines form you guys. That, and that the same person can get multiples roles if he or she can speak well enough. All auditioners, including those who do not get the roles, will be included in the credits for helping out.

Now for the multitude of roles!

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

Well, I might audition. But, could you put up some age limit; I don't wanna audition for a 77-year-old naval captain when I'm only 13. mini/lol

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

haha, this is true, this is true. The estimate of the ages have been added. Thanks for that heads-up!

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

I'm about to record the test lines; a couple of things, you might want to give an idea of the size of each role (I noticed that some parts say "small part," but a general idea of how many lines might be nice for auditioners). Also pictures would probably help, unless you're going to choose the faces to go with whoever is voicing it (not a bad idea, but most people like having pictures). And the Pedestrian doesn't have a test line. Expect test lines from me for all characters that apply to me soon!

Thanks for the catch, kcirbfilms. Also, I got your test lines; thanks a bunch for such a speedy response. And great quality too. mini/bigsmile I'll be looking into your lines tonight. And I'll get some pics of the roles too, although I don't have all the minifigures ready for all the roles (I think i might want to order some certain military figures/sets).

Sent lines for Pvt. Joseph McDonald and Intel Officer.

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

Sorry funmi, but the roles for those two have already been taken. Do you mind auditioning for some of the other roles? I'd like to get someone to play one of the more major roles.

EDIT: Thanks for auditioning for some other parts, funmi! I've decided to give you the role of the Pedestrian. I'll send you the script shortly.

O Happy times! Thanks for auditioning for her part. I was about to shoot a scene with her in it, so once I hear your voice, I'll send you the script. I'm pretty sure no one else will audition for her, so thanks again!

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

Wow, thanks for all the auditions! So, I received two more auditions, one for Susie Ruth, which I presume was you, Chiro, and for Bernard Kuehn, which I think was from Mickey. Both voices were quite good; I think I will decide about them tomorrow.

Also, It would be great if you were to audition for General Short, Legocloniac477 mini/smile .

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

Alrighty, so here is what I have chosen so far. Actually, I didn't have much of a choice for some of these actors, but the women voices I think fit quite well. Anyway,

dipothebookworm - Stimson's wife
Chiro - Susie Ruth
Mickey - Bernard Kuehn

Yups. Congrats. And I'll be sending the script sometime soon. Thanks for all the helps. mini/lol

EDIT: I sent all the scripts. Let me know if you guys have trouble opening them; they should be in pdf format.

Re: [CASTING CALL] Pearl Harbor - the Truth Unveiled

thanks all. I did manage to get 2 or 3 scenes in before I went to college, but now that I am here, I won't be able to do anything until winter break. don't worry though, I have not abandoned the project. It's just that there is really nothing I can do until I get back home, so I think you guys will understand. mini/lol
