You did a very nice job here.
The snow fort was an excellent representation of our meaningless lives, the only thing giving us shelter from the harsh cruel world represented by the snowballs being thrown at the man who represents humanity. The snowballs keep missing the man, and he throws another snowball back at life, representing pleasures. This process continues for a while, until another distraction, Santa Claus, clearly representing the holiday season, comes flying by, distracting us for a few brief seconds. But in the end, that distraction distracts us from fending for ourselves from the world, and in the end, we're merely pooped on by a red-nosed reindeer.
Good job, Olson. In this short film, you have shown us what Christmas is all about.
OR jk--
is the man behind the fort merely a representation of humanity itself and the other people throwing the snowballs are the filthy consumerists that now plague most of our holidays? Santa flying over may possibly be a more literal representation of the christmas spirit that is dwindling and essentially, "pooping" out on us.
hmmm...
