STEAMPUNK CASTING-CALL
Yep, it's finally casting time. I may be contacting certain people via PM, but please audition if you are remotely interested. I am a bit picky on mic quality, but even if you aren't sure, go ahead and send in something.
STEAMPUNK is the story of a small group of freedom-fighters going up against the all-encompassing Black Coal Corporation. And you'll learn a lot more by reading the character bios.
CASTING IS COMPLETE!]
S.T.E.A.M. Operatives
All of the STEAM operatives are preferred to have American accents. And if it helps, think of them as 1800’s engineers during the Industrial Revolution. Also think of members of “The Gun Club” in Jules Verne’s “From the Earth to the Moon”
ROLE TAKEN.]
Captain
He is a young man that has already experienced a lot of suffering. He is determined to bring down the Black Coal Corporation at any cost. He is tough, rugged, no-nonsense, and straight to the point kind of guy. He has much inner-strength, and an indomitable will. He knows more than he reveals to his crew, but they trust him with their lives. He rarely gets mad, but when he does, nothing can stand up to him.
Navigator
The designated pilot of the team, he is more prone to revealing his emotions than his captain. He easily lets his anger loose, but at other times is known to crack a dry joke. As with many of the working-class men of his time, he has had an accident forcing him to live with a prosthetic limb. He is rugged, brave and brilliant.
He has a mature voice and slightly frustrated tone.

Engineer
He is rough, unrefined and scarred. He has suffered much, but the circumstances of his injuries are still a mystery to all but himself. He is quiet, speaking only when necessary, and even then, he never says more than is needed.

Squishy
Being a two-headed Somethingorother from Whoknowswhere has it advantages. Although most of said advantages are lost if the hind-head is destroyed, a thing which sadly happened to Squishy several years ago. Somethingorothers are known for being treacherous, a trait made all the worse by having two heads, so it was no surprise when Squishy sold some valuable intel on the Black Coal Corporation to STEAM. What was a surprise was that the BC hitmen didn’t kill him. They only cut off his other head. Squishy is now employed by STEAM, and works as the head of security and weapons development.
He has a sneaky, sly voice that’s a bit nasally, and slightly alien sounding. He also gets a line in the Somethingorotherian language. His accent doesn’t need to be American.

Black Coal Corporation members
Preferably these characters should have a posh English accent, and they should almost be thought of as a group of high ranking mob bosses. (Except all on the same team.) Perhaps something akin to the meeting room scenes in “The Package III.”
The Big Man
The boss of the organization, and a more-or-less dictator to one third of the world. He is cruel, heartless, and will do anything to stop STEAM.
He should have a fancy accent, and while attempting to remain calm, he should also have a hint of fear and rage in his voice.
Taken by: MouseDroid]
Evil-Red-Shirted-Lady
She is the wife of The Big Man, and shares his cruelty and aptitude for evil. She has had a past of overseeing certain field operations of Black Coal’s law enforcing branch, so she knows what to expect of STEAM.
She remains calm and steady at times, but as things turn against her, she begins to break down in despair.
Taken by: Brick7]
Tophat
He is cunning and evil, and fiercely loyal to BC. His always attempts to please the ruling couple, and will do anything to gain their praise. He only makes one fatal mistake, that of enraging Captian.
He is doubting, unsure and a bit hesitant in his speech.
Taken by: Squid]
Mr. Big-hat, Blue-Shirt Villain and Black Coal Pilot
Each has only one line:
(EDIT: Whoops! Took a picture of the wrong fellow. The middle guy here is a line-less extra, not Blue-Shirt Villain. I'm not color-blind, so I'm not quite sure why I didn't catch that. )
Pilot is the son and heir of The Big Man, but takes a casual stance on the running of the Corporation.
Taken by: Jediknight1997]
Blue-Shirt is young, cunning and clever, and otherwise un-notable.
Taken by: Myself]
Mr. Big-Hat is proud, pompous and overly confident.
