Topic: Backgrounds

Hi! I'm having trouble with my backgrounds-- I've tried different things and they seem to wrinkle or crease. I'm wondering what you do for backgrounds or what you suggest. I'm thinking of something that is like a sky behind my set.
Thanks!

Re: Backgrounds

I am lucky to have a room with a bluish wall.  I use this for my background.  In fact, the wall's the only non-Lego thing I allow in my series, except blue sticky tacky stuff, but I try not to expose that.  I have also a baseplate from an old Homemaker set (Kitchen, Lego set #269, 1979).  Try a large posterboard or if you can find it, a large enough poiece of felt.

Re: Backgrounds

Thanks for those ideas. I don't have a wall in my room that I can use. I have tried posterboard, but it seems to always wrinkle after a while-- do you attach yours to something stiffer? Maybe I'll try felt... what do you hang it on?

Thanks for the ideas and keep them coming!

Re: Backgrounds

Well I use blue card some of the time but most of the time I drape a blue blanket down my wall cos this will get a pretty widespread skyline, so if you have any blue blankets or bed sheets, use them.

Re: Backgrounds

how fare away do you hang it.
