Vietnam War in LEGO
A recreation of a section from the book Fallen Angels, by Walter Dean Myers, for a school project. I did it last minute so near the end I got lazy, but I hope it i still enjoyable.

This isn't bad, and it's refreshing to see non WWII combat, which is what most of the content of Lego war films tend to be. I noticed that war-themed brickfilms tend to be basic missions or goals without a lot of story development. That's okay, but if you like the Vietnam era, a great source for material ideas is Marvel Comics' "The 'Nam", which ran from 1986 for seven to eight years. It was in real time befor ethere was a 24 series: Every issue was released every 30 days, and 30 days in comic time passed between issues. The comic was a perfect balance between realism and all-ages-appropriate material. The stories presented were all based on real life events in the Vietnam War. I'd love to see the characters and situations from The 'Nam rendered in Lego.
