Well, this is just classic, figuratively as well as literally. It was a fresh take on Jonah, telling the story in a visual sense rather than with dialogue. This is perfectly fitting for a universal medium such as Lego, which itself transcends language.
Besides nice and smooth animation and some innovative techniques, such as the breaking of the bottles and idol, there was a whimsical side to it: some of the sound effects, for instance, and the fact that the same guy was beating/being ebaten with a shovel every day, as well as the man being robbed. The ending went a little light on the final lesson where Jonah was angry at Ninevah's conversion, but at least we see the worm come and eat the tree during the credits. A new classic that I'm sure will be receiving a gold stud.
Worthy of a gold stud.
Very well animated and constructed, straight to the point and faithful to the Bible while having it's own twist
Amazing film! I love how you communicated the story line without a single word.
Tells the story exactly as it is, which is always a plus in my book The lack of dialogue made it more engaging and the animation was very well done. Excellent job!
Well, everyone has already said everything that I would have said, but this is a great brickfilm!
