Late '07,and still havn't made a proper film yet...that will change.
November 2007, it doesn't seem that long ago.
Late 2001
about One year. 3 years if you count making LEGGO MUVVEYS.
About four years ago I helped my brother make some of his lego movies. About one year later I also tried to make one of my own...but it didn't turn out to well.
Since around 2003
mid 07 to late 08 i think i stopped when somebody told me i needed to up the frames per second and add a story. haha i only liked lego movies when i used a powershot and windows movie maker and made short self-entertaining clips without sound. haha good times, good times.
Around the end of 2007.
I have never truly made a brickfilm, I dunno when I'l make one either, I lack inspriation, and I am a very, very, very, very, very, very ,very, very, very bad procrastinator.
Sep 16, 2007. I made my first animation the day I joined BF.
2007, but if brickfilming, 2008.
I started animating in the year 2007, but didn't post them anywhere. But now I post them on a variety of sites, such as YouTube, BiM, twitter, etc.
When and why did you start animating?
Well, I started making LEGO MUVVEYS in about 2003, but then i started animating properly in about 2004. Holy !@#$, five years....
I started animating about 14 months ago completed a brickfilming failure (LEGO MUVVEY) then after being embarrassed about not having done any research I spent two months gathering info watching films and tutorials then spent 6 months in tests and completed my debut with this Fun Fact: I didn't even know Brickfilms were some times called Lego Movies till a year after I started

I've been animating for a year and a few weeks.
Let's see, when I was 6, I made a small video with harry potter minfigs and me yelling behind the camera. So if you count that, that would be 6, almost 7 years for me. But I made my first actual 'LEGO MUUVIE' about two years ago, in August 2007, so that's 3 years. But then again, I made my first official brickfilm back when I entered THAC 5, so that's about a year and a half ago.
The first time I made a movie with Lego was late 2007, but I didn't make my first brickfilm until the summer of 2008, so I guess it's been a little over a year.
