I'm a new animator. I started 6 months ago. a year if your counting "LEGGO MUVVIEZZ".
I've technically been animating for nearly 4 years.

I found out about making legos move back in 2005, with my Lego Studios Set. I became obsessed.
I found out about Brickfilms.com in late 2007 though. I actually kind of despised the place a bit because they didn't like my stuff, I thought I was amazing believe it or not. I totally wasn't, as you could tell. And then in 2008, brickfilms.com went down, and up went ilovebrickfilming.com which I fell in love with. It was a great place, helped me out a lot. So yeah, I've been into it for about 4 years.
Maybe ten years? Nah, take one or two off, so about eight. That's still quite a long time, though. But I think I really started working on quality films about four years ago, with my release of Demented Cashier.
2007
I started in Summer 2007.
I made my first brickfilm 1 year, 1 week and 1 day ago ![]()
Nearly 5 years... probably nearly 2 years since I've actually made a film though.
I suck, sorry guys.
Late 2006 early 2007 maybe.
EDIT: Made my first brickfilm on December 02, 2006
I made my first brickfilm with animation on 20 Februar 2005.
EDIT: I remember that I made my first "brickfilm", though there wasn't any animation in it and it was filmed in one long shot where I kept holding the minifigures in my hands, when I was about seven I think. So that would have been around 2000.

I started on November 16th of '08.
I used to use a A95 without live feed. Take pictures, import to computer and hope it looks good, kinda thing, ya know.
I started to improve my animation when I got my 9k; since you could preview your animation. It made a hell of a difference.
I started...Mmm....I would like to say somewhere around June 2008. I found out about brickfilms when my friend and I made a contest to see who could get more views in a week on Yahoo Video, which I lost. My friend came up with the idea for brickfilming and I agreed, and threw together my first brickfilm is 40 minutes, and I only took about 75 pictures for it. I might post it on YouTube one of these days (with subtitles of course because you can't understand what's going on
)

Well your if you were bad back then, you're great now, especially with film entry for STAR
I started doing brickfilms in June 2008 after watching a few movies on YouTube. I had no experience
at all. I was using just a rubbish digital camera and a basic set made out of multicoloured bricks.
My first film (which was awful) was released in two months later in August.

2005
