Haha, nice! Really good effects!

Re: Guess Who?

Oh My Gosh! that was actually freaky and my heart skipped when the monster showed up. but this would be better with more earthtone colors in the bedroom. good job though. mini/smile

Re: Guess Who?

Trust me, if I had earthtone bricks i would of certainly used them for the bedroom, but im kinda low on bricks and don't have many good colours. I will buy some when i have enough money though mini/bigsmile

Re: Guess Who?

That was pretty good.  I actually thought the scariest part is when the kid opens his eyes mini/eek

The animation was good, but the lighting was a little sketchy.  It looked like you filmed it with normal lighting, and then just adjusted the brightness afterwards, am I right?  It was hard to see and didn't look very realistic.

But the lighting was the only thing that really needed work, the rest was nice mini/smile

Re: Guess Who?

I can honestly say that I was freaked out when Kathrine popped up.

Yes, you are right. I couldn't get good darkness lighting so I just changed the brightness.
How do you get good darkness lighting anyway?

Re: Guess Who?

Well, getting good lighting in this situation is difficult, and I'm no expert.  Whenever I've had a 'dark' shot it's just trial and error.  Some things I try are dimming my lamps with paper, messing with position of the light, and then fiddling with my camera settings like aperture to adjust how much light gets in the camera.  I think it's especially difficult with an interior scene like you have in your film, I don't know, anybody else have any knowledge with this type of lighting?

Re: Guess Who?

Re: Guess Who?

Very good Emma. The lighting was awesome and the animation was good.

I'd give this film 4/5.

Oh good.. I'm not the only one.. was focusing more on the door.. Nothing like a dark shadow coming out of nowhere to scare ya huh? mini/lol

Good luck in the contest mini/smile

As for the lighting, May I ask what type of light you were using? I might have a idea for you to try with the darkness..

To be.. Or not to be.. That ain't the question at the moment..
