Well it was only me and Kizar that took interest, and the dates finished so I assume Kizar didn't and I wasn't able to produce something of the challenge unfortunately..

Okay. A simpler challenge could be make a minifig fly. Deadline is November 2nd, three weeks from now.

Fancy Pants made an awesomesauce tutorial a while back, if you're stuck. It can be masking, green-screen, however you want to do it. The effect is surprisingly simple once you start working on it; the real challenge is making it look good. Superman's flight in this is good inspiration, but you can do it any way you like.

The more complex the flight path the better! Experiment as much as you like.

I'm up for it, I'll be looking into this the next couple of days, figure how it works.

And getting back into masking! Ohh it'll be a good one.

3 weeks is great which gives me, and others a good chance to produce something of quality with a challenge.

I just want to notify you that I am working on hard on finishing off the test!

I am currently in the masking stages, although it's not difficult it is very time consuming! mini/lol But none the less having a great time!

I recently got back into Brickfilming and I want to participate in a few animation challenges to get recognition (I dislike how people self-advertise on YouTube). Bricks in motion is a great way to get myself seen. (I haven't made a video yet and posted it on YouTube.

If the deadline for the flying challenge is extended I'll create a vine account and put short videos up there.
If not, I'll participate another time. I'll try and pull off a technique that doesn't require masking or green screen.

Hey there! Welcome to Bricks in Motion. The "Make a Minifig Fly" challenge is over, but we can always suggest a new challenge. Since Divine won the last one by default, then he should pick the new topic. May I suggest an animation technique which doesn't involve masking, or maybe an abstract idea like "Birds" (you know, in honor of thanksgiving... idk mini/tongue).

I don't recommend using Vine. Videos are limited on there. I would say that you should make an alternate YouTube account, or use your normal YouTube account (and make them unlisted if you want). But it's up to you. It just seems as if Vine is rather limited for this kind of thing. mini/wink

I'm planning to try Vine out for 7-second brickfilms (I have an app that lets you upload any video from your phone to Vine) but I also plan to put them on my second channel as well. The main problem is that Vine's starting to go out of fashion - the time to do all this was 6 months to a year ago.
