Y'know, i would love to do that, but alays when i set smooth some kind of srange shading appears.:(
also, i tried to make this combination. But it looked more horrible than the default no offense
Try just the Auto Smooth and Set Smooth. The subsurf makes the bricks go all wacky, so forget I mentioned that. And the strange shadiness dosen't affect the actual rendering, it just looks like that in the 3D view when you're actually making/editing it. Here is a good tutorial on realistic bricks.
Oh yeah, I just remembered. Go to the Shading Panel and click on the balck and yellow pie slice circle. Set the max iterations to 1 and the gamma to 10. This allows the meshes to render smoothly.
