Hilarity encompassed with no dialogue and one heck of a visual joke. Kudos! : D
I was expecting a little more of a payoff then that, but I died laughing at the leadup. I'm not sure why.
Omigod. I love you Keshen (no homo). I've been wanting to make a spoof of Metal Gear Solid in LEGO, but, I never got around to it, and this made me laugh. The cardboard box animation was great, and the 'This Side Up' made me laugh too. The blood may have been the only thing I didn't like about this though. Don't get me wrong, I love bloody films (I'm not a psychopath.), but the blood seemed too bright. Although it was supposed to be comical, I think the odd substance which was supposed to be blood made a part of the film die, to me. But everything else was great, and the premise of the story made me laugh, because I've always thought Metal Gear Solid was a bit stupid.
Great job like always, Keshen
I did have fun with making those sound effects. I used a toy gun, a bike wheel, a stick and of course, a cardboard box (Oh...and a microphone)
The blood part was shot live action so I only really had one shot at it (because it stained the box). I would have preferred it to be more blood like (thicker and darker).
Lovely stuff. Masterful timing and sound work.
LOL, after looking Metal Gear Solid on the evil Wikipedia I understand that you can hide in a cardboard box. How did you get the blood to flow? Did you just drop a glob of it and then quickly out the box over the top? Anyway, you made me laugh as always.
As always, the animation was smooth and the sound effects were awesome. I lol'd as usual.
I almost half expected for the dude to jump out of the box super quick, shoot the other guy up, and scar the heck out of me.
That was great well done!
Amazing work.
Amazing work.
I must credit the sound work like everyone else, that was definitely one of the highlights of this film.
Also, as usual, great timing. It really sold the comedy here (especially the box running into the beam and readjusting its path).
Great work, it's funny.
Timing is good and sounds too.
