The artificial zooming and panning were distracting. Seeing the original, I don't see why you had to but if you'd put more effort in setting up the shot and did more animation, you wouldn't have to do all that panning and zooming in post. And before you play the shaky-cam card, that does not look like shaky-cam.

You're exactly right, I was lazy with the animation and thought the artificial camera panning would suffice. But whats the "shaky cam" card? I wasn't trying to imitate a shaky cam...
Well, it seems to pan left and right in a "robotic" way and usually first timers who attempt to do shakycam in post get a robotic look to the cam's movement.
