Topic: Photoshop CS5's content aware fill... for masking?!

I had an idea whilst editing my wall jump animation.

How well would the new content aware fill in Photoshop CS5 work for masking in brickfilms? I have a hunch that you'd need to make the fill on a new layer (if possible?) then copy it across to the over frames as I don't know how well it could consistently replicate the same backdrop, depending on how complex the background is.

Does someone have Photoshop CS5, and able to test this for me/the community? if it works, I think it could be a major step in Brickfilm masking.

This is a good idea, but in practice I don't think it would work very well if you had a patterned somethingorrather behind it. Like a brick wall. The software guesses what's behind the thing you're trying to get rid of, so in each frame it would look different.
But if you were masking out support wires for something filmed in front of a block colour background or a green screen, then it might just speed up the process.

I thought of this a while back, and I'd love to see the results.
