Topic: Lighting

I'm new here in bricksinmotion and just wondering what lighting I should use for my videos. I can make a more whiteish light or a yellowish light. Check out this video to see what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Zx66BTOsJk
Which lighting is better? Should I use different lightings for different scenes?

By the way, I know that the bricks in the background look like they're moving. It is just a focus problem with the camera I am using. I will have it fixed for my next video.

Re: Lighting

Number one looks more natural.

So here's the thing, I've A: Lost interest, and B: have no time to animate anymore. Expect little from me in the future. WIP projects have been pretty much abandoned and my LEGO collection is boxed up. No, you can't have it. mini/tongue But do not fear, I may return to it one day.

Re: Lighting

they both kinda look the same, just one's yellow.

walk cycle looks great btw!!

as far as lighting - each shot should be lit differently depending on what you aspire to achieve with said shot. take a look at your favorite movies and look how the director of photography uses light to help personify the characters mood.

Re: Lighting

That's kind of a big difference mate..

Natural light is white, so go for number one.
