The Package II - Redherring

Youtube

The sequel to "The Package" In which a Package must be delivered, although this time, the package is not what it seems.

I hope you can look past the technical flaws, which were mainly unavoidable, without major re filming

Re: The Package II - Redherring

I watched it way before you posted it here. It had a bad ass plot. But Light Flickers in the beginnning a the night scene. mini/eek But still great mini/delirium

Re: The Package II - Redherring

It was pretty good. The length doesn't have to be 30+ min. You could have made it a solitary sort of thing. The plot was very well planned & it had a very cinematic feel (which is what we adore). The CGI was fantastic! I don't know if you did it yourself, or if you collaborated with Gareth, but it was movie level CGI, almost to the point of PIXAR or Dream Works. The animation was what kind of let me down though. It was kind of choppy at parts, but the sets were good to enhance the animation. This I say was a well collaborated project, I say, & was worth watching (Although I couldn't watch it all the way through at one seating). 4/5.

Sorry but, No. Just no.

Re: The Package II - Redherring

I would like to know if any of you guys can tell me how to improve on the animation, despite thinking it's ok, I do realise that there are some noticeable flaws.  The main reason is that I wanted to get this out rather than cancel, so I couldn't afford to be perfectionist.

Hahahaha, I can't stop laughing. Have you actually watched any professional animated movies?
The animation was pretty good, to improve it I would basically just keep animating, trying to refine it a little more each time.

Anyway, I love this movie. It may technically not be consistent or groundbreaking, but the point in film making is to entertain which is exactly what The Package II does in spades.
If you're a person who's too shallow to see past the technicalities to the heart and soul of the film itself then you clearly aren't qualified to comment.

^ He means 'ditto' which means 'same'.

Re: The Package II - Redherring

What I meant was, there really wasn't any comparison to his CGI. It does not mean he is better than the best 3D Animation companies of all time. I couldn't find a better comparison, except for now that I can think a little clearer, probably James W's Clone wars movie, Smeagol's films, & some of Gareth's CGI.

Re: The Package II - Redherring

Thanks, anyways. I find this far better than the first package, seeing past the flaws, you've got yourself a great film. I don't think a lot of people are taking into consideration the amount of time you put into it. Yes it could be much better, but it's life.

Thank you kindly, I do actually acknowledge all the flaws, but I was personally very happy with the result, if I really wasn't happy I wouldn't have released.

Re: The Package II - Redherring

I deleted some offtopic arguments. In the future, let's try to discuss the film and ONLY the film. This is Saminatorger's thread to get feedback. You may present your opinions on his film, but keep things on topic, and try to offer constructive criticism.

Re: The Package II - Redherring

Thanks Squash. I acted kind of jerky, but now it's all deleted. I still love your CGI though, Saminatorger.
