Topic: Desert

How do I make a desert? I need a desert with details for an upcoming brickfilm.

What's the point of making brick models if your little brother destroys them?

Re: Desert

Re: Desert

Or you take orange fabric in the background. it´s a bit tricky, but it works:

Re: Desert

I think real sand looks better, but that fabric is effective, easy, and much tidier..

If that's the word...

So here's the thing, I've A: Lost interest, and B: have no time to animate anymore. Expect little from me in the future. WIP projects have been pretty much abandoned and my LEGO collection is boxed up. No, you can't have it. mini/tongue But do not fear, I may return to it one day.

Re: Desert

To get you inspired abit more, there are some desert sets in Aladibababad and Good Company.

Re: Desert

That just looks like he's walking across a sea of Fanta. Yellow cloth is the way to go.

What kind of Fanta have you been drinking?!

Anyway, tan cloth would be better than yellow, deserts aren't yellow, mustard is yellow, lemons are yellow, deserts are orangey-browney-tan. mini/tongue

Re: Desert

Real sand would be hard to animate, if make one small bump on it will be noticeable.
