REM Stand in Lego

Link 1

1st good film

I didnt have any software then, so the animation is choppy because i could only get it down to 10 fps.

Re: REM Stand in Lego

It was ok. Everything was extremely simple set-wise, which is good and bad. The animation was a little choppy, but over all it was pretty good. Love the song haha.

And how would this copy MindGame's film? mini/tongue

Re: REM Stand in Lego

I liked it! Very creative.

Re: REM Stand in Lego

Well the lighting was well done, the animation was to slow. It might have looked better if you put it on a higher FPS like 15. the camera was pretty darn still which was good, how did you get it like that? Tripod maybe?

Re: REM Stand in Lego

actually i used a really bad webcam, and i had it taped to the table i was using.
I learned two lessons from this video
1. Don't use iMovie for stop motion, it only had 10 FPS
2. Don't use a Logitech Quickcam Pro for stop motion, it had bad autofocus.

Re: REM Stand in Lego

Actually-for the logitech quickcam pro 9000,  just turn autofocus off, turn manual focus on- and it's the best webcam ever! mini/lol

Re: REM Stand in Lego

I really enjoyed, great song choice, great animation, even if it was only 10fps.
This was very enjoyable, and you are a really good animator, you made 10fps look about as smooth as it can be, that being said, the frame rate was to low, and was somewhat choppy.  I also like your ideas put into this film, I watched the entire film without being bored of looped footage, because there was always new ideas!
Now on the issue of frame capture, You should get a program that will allow you to change settings of your camera, take pictures, and export as a movie at any fps you want.  You could probably find one on this list.

All in all, I would give a 3/5

Re: REM Stand in Lego

Just a Logitech Quickcam Pro for the Mac. Sadly, you cant turn off the autofocus on it.

Re: REM Stand in Lego
