Topic: Would you like semi-professional sound effects or voices?
I use a digital eight track recorder along with an shure sm-57 microphone. This is not studio quality, but it is definitely well above average lego stop animation quality (or at least it was back when I was more active in the community). For those who know nothing about audio, the shure sm-57 is your basic industry standard all purpose microphone. It is good for recording everything from instruments to voices.
My set-up is rather portable, and I'd love to build a sound library or perhaps help some brickfilmers with foley, sound effects, voices, and perhaps even music or ambiance for their film(s).
My eight track captures sound at a 44.1kHz/16-bit recording resolution, and I can send your files in .ogg or FLAC.
My only requirement is that you have produced some films of decent quality, or at least have a track record of going through with your projects. I am not expecting a flood of people asking for sound effects or whatever, but I do not want put forth effort on half-assed film projects that never see the light of day. So pretty much if any of your films are on the level that my films are... don't bother. haha. But seriously, if your interested just reply to the message with some evidence of actual interest in animation. I'll send you a PM and request some details.
I'll try to put up a portfolio thingy and show you what I am able to do, but honestly I just want to experiment. I'd love to take on just about any request. If you're willing to take a risk just let me know!
