Down the Hatch

Down the Hatch trailer

Follow up to Through the Hatch.
With the exception of photoshopping out some wires and blu tac, all effects are in shot.
Should be finished next year or so.

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

After the wow factor of Odd Jobs, I cannot wait to see this. Consider it hyped.

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

Definitely looking forward to this film.  Through the Hatch was great but this looks even better mini/smile  I think one thing that makes your films awesome is the lighting.  It looks like you use little LED lights or something.  I'm using some of those for the upcoming film I'm making.

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

One word, EPIC... (I know that word is overused, but tis looks amazing)
The ninjas fighting was really good, cannot wait till it comes out!

edit: I looked on your channel, and some of the vehicles you have created for this is amazing, you are an engineering genius, I am completely serious, no exaggeration at all.

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

Thanks fellas : ) Daniel be careful when using LEDS because if you don't have the correct voltage you can either overheat/blow the bulbs or they drain too quickly making the sequence inconsistent. Also make the batteries easily accessible and always carry more than 2 in reserve. Good luck : )

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

Thanks for the advice.  I've already burnt out a few LEDs, but now I'm using the right voltage for each.  I made a Subway train, and it's not that big.  It's tough to hide all the batteries and wires so they won't be seen in the video.  The outcome is awesome though!  It makes it look so much realer using real lights mini/tongue

Re: Trailer - Down the Hatch (trailer)

That trailer is cool beans!

I'm really looking forward to it!

I just watched "through the hatch"

My mind just EXPLODED.

That was one of the most awesomesauce things I have EVER SEEN.

So here's the thing, I've A: Lost interest, and B: have no time to animate anymore. Expect little from me in the future. WIP projects have been pretty much abandoned and my LEGO collection is boxed up. No, you can't have it. mini/tongue But do not fear, I may return to it one day.
