Thanks for the positive reactions!

As Fun Sucker pointed out, I agree that the name biscuit would be a bit odd to use if the program ever really took off, but when you look around (MonkeyJam, Helium Frog) it's not that weird comparatively. I guess the B could stand for basic, but this program may evolve into something far from being basic... Anyhow, I realise the point made.

I think just using biscuit by itself, whilst still keeping a hint of acronym would be the best way to go about it. Most people think of Gimp as just the word Gimp, not as the GNU Image Manipulating Program, yet the origin of the acronym still exists. That's what we should do with biscuit.

@Sonjira, I don't think it's really necessary to add 'Animator' or 'Pro' to the end of the name, purely because it doesn't give anything to the title, and also allows it to blend in (we want it to be individual, don't we?) with the multitude of other programs that end in 'Animator' or 'Pro'. Thanks anyway though!

The name Biscuit isn't what concerned me, it was Bricks in Motion in the acronym.

Perhaps the Bricks In Motion part of the acronym could be changed to Brickfilm or Brickfilming or Brickfilmer's?

Or no acronym at all.

That's what I think needs to happen.

I'll repeat myself: yes we don't need to publicly use the acronym, but it's still good to keep it on hand.

We should go with, brickfilming Image Sequencing and Capture Unit Initiative.

Hey guys, it looks as if we have a name established mini/smile very good. I like Biscuit. What's next?

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Well mac 64bit isn't working and haven't tested 32bit, other then that basic stuff for release.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I do not believe that the EDSDK framework is the problem because DragonFrame, helpfully coded in java, uses the same EDSDK.frameworks that we need, so I copied those in the both the local file and into the system's frameworks, both unsuccessful. I have a few tricks up my sleeves, though...

Wow, that's really great!

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Nice logo! I'll stop my progress as I have been superseded in ability by a bug mini/lol

The only thing that I have a problem with is the distracting background in the icon itself; I think that a simple gradient much like what you did with the background would look nicer, but perhaps, if you want to design the logo make several variations including the gradients and/or other tweaks, but if you do not want to you can send me a photoshop/GIMP file, as I am assuming that's what you're using.

But other than that small, hypercritical part, it looks elegantly simplistic. Very nice work.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

I don't think the background is to distracting. It blends a little bit, I would just darken it a bit on the background.

Re: Developers/Programmers Needed! Let's create a stopmotion program!

Yes, but the colors also don;t correspond too well, and it really would not be too difficult to create a gradient version as well, so I think that it would be beneficial to have a comparison between the two.

I'm actually using Illustrator. If anything, I think just the removal of the drop shadow would make it more simplistic and friendly. That one I posted up there is more over the top and stylized. Here is a simple flat one along with variants. I still really like the first one:

First and second are best I think.

First.

It's great to see this moving along the way it is. Kudos, folks. I like the name and the first variant by RS is great.
