Re: 2010 DAD death and destruction contest
Kinz lets just say both our entries will be, umm...... fearful. Have fun filming all who enter! Some Admin should really move this thread to the contests and festivals topic instead.

... you can't figure out the whole movie by a poster.
This sounds too good to be true. The contest is not very well organised, and i cant see you giving out all them prizes for nothing. And i don't have a skeleton, so count me out.
New signature image for my entry.

No sexual references, but violence and gore are okay?
What are you, an American?
Nope, he's British.
Mine is going to be a Star Wars horror film. I know it sounds stupid, but it can be very fearful if you portray it right. BUT that's all I'm gonna say, so don't pester me for the story.
You'll see, Darkman. Hey, should I do a little shout-out to the people at Brickfilms.com?
Maybe when you have Darth vader using the force to rip someone's guts out. Star Wars horror doesn't sound like a good idea though.
AAARRRGGGHHH, I should have never shared my idea. (Bangs head against wall) stupid, stupid, stupid! I'll just tell the people at BF about the contest. Maybe they'll get my idea. See ya!
The best version of LEGO Star Wars horror is when an 8-year-old uses Windows Movie Maker to make a cheap movie with no plot, story and choppy animaton. SCARY. I'm writing my script either today or tomorrow. Should be epic.

No reason to be arrogant.
I agree with vik. BTW, we all started out like that, MadLibs. Why is everybody criticizing my idea? I'll show you. I'll show you all! MWA-Ha-HA-HA-HAAAAA!

Another sneak peak from my script:
'Would you like p*ssy for dinner?'
'W-what..?'
'Oh, so that made you shut up.'
Kinzcove, the rules say 1 swear word.
Yeah... and your point is?
In the two quotes you've given us, each has had one swear word.
As for my regards to this contest: I probably won't be doing it. IF it's succesfful enough to continue on another year (unlikely) then I'll definetaly enter, but for now i'm going to focus on my new series.
I wrote the outline for the script that Danimation and I'll be doing. It's called "Strigoi" But I haven't shown anything to Danimation yet so stuff might change.
