Topic: Community Project - "Boom De Ah Dah"
This is an old project, rebooted. It has potential!
Boom De Ah Dah
A while ago, the Discovery Channel aired a commercial in which some people sang a song about how much they love the world. They invited people to make their own versions of it and, while we're a bit late for that, it would still make a great comprod. So here we go!
The premise is this: I have written a brickfilming-themed version of the song. If you want to participate, pick a line (there are 18 to choose from), record yourself singing that line and "Boom de ah dah", then animate yourself singing those two lines. When we have all the lines animated, the film will be finished!
To claim a line, post it here in this thread. I will be updating this post regularly so you know which ones are available.
Update!
If you missed out on the opportunity to take part in the main song, never fear! We'll need as many "boom de ah da"s as we can get, so animate yourself singing that. Make sure the file name is your username and 'Boom De Ah Da', instead of just your username.
Also, if you'd like to get a line from a verse as well as your boom de ah da, post here and I'll put you on the reserve list in case anyone doesn't meet the standards, fails to make their clip in time or drops out.

Requirements
Your animation skills can be at any level and your camera can be any quality. The only requirements are to shoot your clip in 16:9 widescreen and at least 15fps. We need this for consistency. If I don't think your clip fits these requirements, or is just so badly made that it sticks out from the rest, I reserve the right to not include it in the final edit.
Do NOT, under any circumstances send me a WMV file. The program I use to play them (Flip4Mac) has gone rogue and now watermarks, both audibly and visually, every single WMV on my computer. So please don't send me a WMV.
Clip submission
Once your clip is finished send the file (or a link to where I can download it) it to [email protected]. Make sure the file name is your BiM username, or at the very least include your username in your email.
SUBMIT YOUR CLIP BY SUNDAY NOVEMBER 20TH
One month from today.
Update! (Nov. 21st)Impressive! All but three people got their clips in on time. However, we still have two free lines remaining. (Sean has special circumstances.)
Anyone at all is now allowed to take a line with the word FREE next to it. The first person to send that in gets the spot. Don't forget to do the boom de ah dah too!
Everyone who participated, you are now on call. If I find any problem with your clip while I'm dropping them in my editing program, I will contact you letting you know and I will need you to fix the problems as soon as possible.
Also, if you feel your existing clip isn't up to scratch, feel free to redo it in this time. Good luck!
