Topic: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

When I read this, I nearly wet myself with excitement.

Until I read on, where it said you had to be 16 or over to enter, and I'm still only 14 (but only just!). I can't enter (I don't think).

So, I thought I'd post the link here and see what everyone else thought. Maybe some over 16s can even enter. If you can, I would seriously suggest taking it, as it's the chance of a lifetime.

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

I have one. Sort of.

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

I'm 16, but there's not enough time to enter.

Well dang mini/eek

Those prizes are enough to make me want to swim a lava lake, pour acid on myself, and subscribe to 'Fred'.

I don't know how I got here, or why i'm talking to the strange people on this website.

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

my hope is that only I enter so I get all the prizes.

Could you record it? mini/XD

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

I just saw this too. 2 months seems like a ridiculously short time for a film turnaround, even if the maximum length is 90 seconds. I'm not sure why we didn't hear about this sooner, looks like it opened for entries in April.

Anyway, they seem to be pretty explicit in what they want -- a LEGO advertisement. So, get to it, everyone!

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

I'd be all for it if I could do it (I would if I was old enough, by the way), but I have a feeling that there's going to be a few great entries on BiM here rather than lots of mediocre entries.

So here's the thing, I've A: Lost interest, and B: have no time to animate anymore. Expect little from me in the future. WIP projects have been pretty much abandoned and my LEGO collection is boxed up. No, you can't have it. mini/tongue But do not fear, I may return to it one day.

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

NO! I think I just died a little bit.

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

Oh, you cannot be serious! mini/madhead 16s and over age limit? That stinks.

I spent my entire day in the kitchen, which legally constitutes me as a woman. - Kcirbfilms

Re: LEGO Cannes Film Comp

Whoa, EVERYTHING stops man, I've got to at least try to enter this.  I wish I knew about this sooner.

Aaaah that explains why Smeagol has been practising the live action films (no recent brickfilms).

You can’t have manslaughter without the laughter!
