Topic: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

like smeagol said in the BiM Thread:

If we could reserve this thread [BiM 2011: TOY]  primarily for questions that would be cool.  If you want to discuss your ideas in a blog-like manner that might be better suited to a blog or at least a thread in pre-production.  Thanks!

here's that thread mini/smile thought it might be helpful.

Thanks for this thread.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

My idea is based off a murder case from the mid 1700s.

Nice idea.
I think I might do a homicide film set back a long time ago (not so sure of the period).

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

I'll probably do a Brickumentary about the Black Plague.
Brickumentary is a new term I just created for a documentary mixed with a brickfilm.  mini/bigsmile  Might have the script finished by the end of January.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

Zombie: Genesis would be a good example of a brickumentary, I think.

I'll probably do a simple western film and really focus on stuff like lighting, how I frame the shots, and getting a nice atmosphere going. I usually just ignore all that kinda stuff.

No poster or anything, just a fun image I made based off my TOY film plot.

This contest would be a good opportunity to incorporate steampunk.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

I'm thinking of making a film based off the Black Death.

EDIT: I won't be doing this now because MadLibs doing it.

I've got a great idea. I'll wait until I've saved up for a new laptop, and got enough for some new software.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

No one's doing mine! I'm excited!

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

I've had an awesome idea. It might fall flat on its face, or I might just pull it off. It would be my first 'serious' Brickfilm.
Theme: Slavery. An African man trying to return to his family after being shipped to America.
I'm not American myself, so I'm not sure how well this would go, but it's worth a shot. I would love to win one of those prizes...

I don't make Brickfilms. I trade virtual hats.

Re: BiM 2011: TOY idea disscussion thread

I have a pretty awesome idea. I'm going to start a script after Christmas, and hopefully I'll get a few big projects out of the way so I can do this on time.

I haven't thought of an idea yet, not even a spark. So hopefully this website'll help me, cheers Mason.

Sounds better.....

I once read a biography about Patton, Bernard Montgomery, and Rommel. I called it a triography.
